If you currently have silver fillings, we can help you to make the switch to a tooth-colored restoration. We can handle this two-visit process at our office. During the first appointment, we will remove the old filling and any additional tooth decay. We then create an impression of your teeth to send to the lab to design a custom onlay to fit your tooth. We complete this first session by placing a temporary onlay on your treated tooth.

When you return for your second visit, we will remove the temporary onlay and prepare the tooth with a conditioning gel. We then place bonding cement on your tooth and use a high-intensity light to secure the permanent onlay. We finish with polishing the tooth. Your new filling can last 20 to 30 years with appropriate oral hygiene habits and routine examinations with your dentist.
